29th, January 29th I got the flu And I woke up dreaming Playing the blues about this song And it was about all the things That I ain't done since you've been gone I woke up And I woke up Since you been gone Mike Mancour ​You​ Here are the rambling thoughts driving my car thinking about it So since you've been gone has 3 perspectives based upon the root words of Lying, Crying and Trying. First it's about another person, and trying not to lose them and trying to keep them, and i'm not lying to to them anymore. Then The second verse is about how you feel about yourself... lying to yourself about how you really cared, and now you miss them..., it's about yourself. And then it's a whole nother layer of that. I've been a lying to myself and crying to myself about you, being gone and trying to forget you. Chorus or bridge is about how I found my stride, and I got my pride. I'm moving forward. The last verse I'm lying in the bed, I made, and I'm not crying about anything. And I've been tried and found not guilty to move forward.
